Group Leader - DCP Delhi

Gaurav Ganguly, best known as GG (Associated pseudonyms Architect GG , Road Captain GG). By qualification, Gaurav is an architect, urban design, heritage conservationist. But his heart has always had different plans! Gaurav is a passionate motorcyclist and a traveller along with being involved with culture and media. Born in a family of art, literature and culture (proving all the Bengali stereotypes), one would often find him in and around the stage. An avid theatre artist, set designer and lighting designer, along with being a freelancing graphic designer, and media editor, he is often seen juggling multiple hats… and the best part of this all is, we can assure you that you would never run out of topics for conversations! Gaurav is empanelled with us as a Group Leader, Team DCP Delhi.

The National Capital New Delhi is well connected by flights with all major cities. Please note this tour doesn’t provide you bikes and you will need to join with your own bikes and all riding accessories.

Getting Ready

Things to carry:

Proper riding gear of suitable certification which includes comfortable trousers, jeans, jacket, etc. and guards, as applicable.
Riding gloves and covered shoes.
All relevant documents of the participant's vehicle.
Full face or Modular Helmet with relevant certification (ISI, ECE, DOT)
Any particular medication, with the doctor's prescription.
Cash in small and multiple denominations.
Luggage as per the weather at the destination.
Carry footwear that would be comfortable for walking as well.
Headscarves and other coverings for visiting any religious places.
Carry spare and compact bags to carry with you (for shopping, laundry, etc.)
Ensure to be physically fit. Inform us about any medical conditions
Inform about your contact details and route plans to someone at home
Carry a first aid kit for minor medical emergencies along with any prescription medicines that is recommended for your medical condition.

Itinerary

Day 1: Departure from Delhi

We shall rendezvous at the starting point at 6:00am for a briefing and final checks before we flag off at 6:00am. Breakfast enroute. Check the Kishangarh Marble Dumpyard on the way. Checkin in your resort and have lunch. Check out the local Pushkar market after Lunch. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day: Explore Pushkar

Enjoy the city tour of Pushkar after Breakfast at hotel. Visit the Brahma Temple, the only one in the world followed by Lunch in the city. Local shopping at the leather & fabric market. Visit the Savitri Mata Temple via Rope-way (based on availability) and see the sunset. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Explore Ajmer

Leave for Ajmer post Breakfast. Time shall be provided as options to visit the dargah or the fort as individuals and not the group. Ride around the Ana Sagar Lake, and meet for lunch. Relaxing evening spent at the hotel, gathering with memories of a lifetime and cherishing new friendships on the road less travelled. Dinner and overnight at Hotel.

Day 4: Return to Delhi

Flag off at 6:00am. Travel to the Shakambari Mata Mandir, and ride on the Sambhar Lake Salt Flats. Breakfast enroute at the Hotel Highway King. Lunch shall be at Mannat’s Manesar, at your own expense. We shall reach Delhi by early evening

Airfare from / to your originating city of stay, and hotel costs before and after the trip in Delhi.
Items of personal nature viz, fuel, tips, porterage, room service, laundry, mineral water, alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages, phone calls, additional sightseeing tours / excursions not included in the itinerary etc.
Any items / services not specifically mentioned in the ‘Inclusions’.
All the entry tickets will be borne by the participants.

Cancellation policy

All cancellations before 30 days of the event date - 100% credit
All cancellations between 20 - 30 days of the event date - 50% credit
All cancellations within 20 days of the event date - No credit possible

The hotel confirmed will be as mentioned or similar category.
All sightseeing is subject to weather and local political conditions
It is mandatory to carry a valid photo identity card, individual’s Driving License, and all relevant documents related to the vehicle throughout the trip
Decision of ride captain on any changes of plans will be final during the trip
