Shampa Chatterjee, an Advocate by profession was born and brought up in Kolkata. She is a self-taught photographer, her uncle (who is a passionate photographer) inspired her to begin the journey in this creative field. Shampa says "photography is more than a passion to me, which is an art of observation, it is all about about finding something extraordinary in an ordinary place". Other than photography, she loves exploring new places and reading books . She has shifted to Delhi in 2013 and enthusiastically joined DCP Group at Delhi Walk Festival, thus her journey with the group began. She is a Macro Photography lover and loves to see the interesting expressions of those tiny subjects. She is associated with the group as Group Leader - Team DCP Delhi.

Gaurav Ganguly

Gaurav Ganguly, best known as GG (Associated pseudonyms Architect GG , Road Captain GG). By qualification, Gaurav is an architect, urban design, heritage conservationist. But his heart has always had different plans! Gaurav is a passionate motorcyclist and a traveller along with being involved with culture and media. Born in a family of art, literature and culture (proving all the Bengali stereotypes), one would often find him in and around the stage. An avid theatre artist, set designer and lighting designer, along with being a freelancing graphic designer, and media editor, he is often seen juggling multiple hats… and the best part of this all is, we can assure you that you would never run out of topics for conversations! Gaurav is empanelled with us as a Group Leader, Team DCP Delhi.

Mandar Godbole

Group Leader - Dcp Bengaluru

Mandar Godbole works as Director – software development in a multinational firm in Bangalore. He pursues wildlife photography as a passion, and his first love being the winged wonders. Over last few years, he has travelled length and breadth of India in search new species and perfect shots. Apart from photography he blogs regularly, penning his experiences in the wild through his photo-blogs. He has translated two books on wildlife from English to Marathi and wishes to continue that in his spare time. He used to run a small travel company earlier purely out of passion for travels to lesser known destinations. Mandar is with Team DCP as Group Leader – Team Bangalore.

Gayatri Govardhane

Group Leader And City Coordinator - DCP Nashik

Gayatri is a practising architect in Mumbai who has travelled the length and breadth of the country for both her profession and her love of nature. She is a passionate nature and wildlife photographer and is the backbone of DCP Nasik team. She is a skilled administrator and efficiently handles the planning and execution of all events under her perview. She is currently associated with Team DCP Nashik as a Group Leader and City Coordinator.

Vivek Sharma

Group Leader - DCP, Delhi

Vivek Sharma is a young, talented wildlife photographer. An Electrical Engineer and MBA by degree, he is a devout photographer by heart. He began his tryst with camera in early 2012 and soon found his love for wildlife photography. He is an avid Macro Photography lover. His penchant is for the tiny little details a macro subject can provide. In his own words, his love for macro photography stems from the fact that beauty of these subjects is not visible to naked eyes and provide challenges for a photographer. He is loved for his enthusiasm to share knowledge in his simple yet pinpointed style of explaining. This skillful photographer is associated with us as Group Leader - Team DCP Delhi.

Shivaji Pathak

Shivaji Pathak has done his Masters in Commerce but is a wildlife photographer by passion. He specializes in macro, still life & bird photography. He believed that his images talk about his passion for the natural wonders around us and he uses photography as a medium to communicate to the world about his responsibility for our environment. He is well known for sharing his knowledge about art and science of photography selflessly with all around him. Camera for him is his life. He is associated with team DCP as Group Leader, DCP Nashik.

Manaska Mukhopadhyay

Group Leader - DCP Kolkata

Manaska Mukhopadhyay is a graduate from Durgapur Government College and post-graduate from Jadavpur University in Applied Geology. He is presently pursuing his doctoral degree in Structural Geology from Department of Geological Sciences, Jadavpur University. Photography is his passion. He loves street photography and has good skills in macro photography as well. He is currently working on documentary filming and video editing. He also works for an NGO, namely Treasures of Innocence and helps the under privileged children in creative learning. His photograph was selected in the Daily Dozen of Nat Geo Your Shot; his work was featured in the special feature segment of Pitara 2016 and also won Imagic creative frame (an Institute Of Motion Art Graphical Image & Cinematography) photography contest. Manaska is associated with DCP as Group Leader – Team DCP Kolkata.

Gaurav Shukla, a Networking and Hardware student by education and an avid wildlife photography enthusiast. His love for wildlife was since his childhood. He started making pictures since he was 17 years old and slowly wildlife photography became more than a passion for him. He is a talented wildlife photographer but aspires to sharpen his skills everyday. He has bagged awards in the field of wildlife photography and has got featured in magazine and newspapers. He depicts the wonders of nature using his photography as a medium for conservation. He is currently associated with team DCP Hyderabad as a Skipper.

Harshad Pawar

Harshad Pawar is a computer professional and a passionate writer, traveler and wildlife photographer. He is a script writer as well, and has done script and cinematography for independent films. He has a passion in wildlife photography and most interestingly he writes during his travel through the various wild destinations across the country. His words through his travel dairies and stories about jungles can take anyone to a dream world. He organizes various wildlife photography camps, workshops in Nashik and elsewhere. His technical knowledge about photography is very good and he loves sharing his technical skills with people around him. He is associated with DCP Expeditions as a Group Leader, Team DCP Nashik.

Sutirtha Ray

SKIPPER - DCP VADODARA

Sutirtha Ray, is born in Kolkata and raised in a town called Habra, West Bengal. Academically he holds two Bachelor degrees, one in Chemistry and another in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Calcutta. He is working in the field of Chemical Engineering since 2002 in different roles and currently in engineering design. Presently he is located in Vadodara, Gujarat. This talented photographer has developed interest in photography since a year and a half, his other interests are singing and playing guitar. His objective is to inspire the young and talented photographers in the field of Macro photography through DCP group. Sutirtha is associated with the group as Skipper – Team DCP, Vadodara.

Mohammed Haris is an enthusiastic wildlife photographer. He is a data analyst by profession, his love for photography makes him get up and take out time to pursue his passion for Wildlife photography. He is highly inspired by the way Nature teaches humans the patience, the love and care in the whole lifecycle. He showcases, using his skills, the Love and Innocence of this wonderful form of life on Earth and inspire people to learn from the Mother Nature so that they could perceive things in a different manner. Meera Nerurkar is an electronics engineer by qualification with an inclination towards finer aspects of life. She likes to capture moments which are closer to her heart and share them in the form of photographs with people. She is a self-taught photographer having great photography skills. Being modest, she often says, she is still learning and would continue doing it forever. Also, a voracious reader, Meera loves to read from all genres, very much fond of traveling, and is never tired of exploring new places, cultures and cuisines. She stays in Dusseldorf, Germany, and is spearheading DCP's bastion in Germany as on date.

Kamal Riya is an independent business owner by profession and a traveler and photographer by heart. He has travelled across Indian geography exploring nature and wilderness. He has keen interest in marine and underwater photography and has mastered significant expertise in it. He loves sharing knowledge with all around him. Rakesh Bakraniya

Rakesh Bakraniya, born in the land of Saurashtra and brought up in Vadodara, holding a degree of MBA Finance by profession is a passionate photographer. His hobby of photography became a passion when his work was published at local publications in 2015. The beauty of nature and wildlife always fascinated him. He found himself indulging in seeing the beauty through camera which can't seen by naked eyes which resulted into macro photography with an extreme passion. Prasad was born & brought up in Mumbai. By qualification he is a science degree holder. He has spent more than two decades working with some of the leading Pharma organisations of India. Photography for him is a serious passion. Amongst the various genres of outdoor photography, Landscape & Travel photography are his favorites. Prasad’s photography has gathered recognition in various national & international platforms. He believes that Photography is an art which can excel only by continuous practice & sharing of knowledge. Rao Sonu Yadav is a Delhi based Fashion and Commercial photographer and very passionate about wildlife photography. His passion for nature and wildlife photography is extreme and he loves to travel solo to the different places for photographing the people,nature and to explore the places. His favorite genre is Macro Photography. In past he has served various companies and expertise in management information system and work force management but his love for photography convinced him to quit the job and become a full time photographer and as of now he has been associated with few fashion magazines and worked for various major brands and websites. In his free time he loves to read about the butterflies and snakes. He is currently associated with Team DCP as Group Leader, DCP Delhi.

Ashish Chauhan is a talented wildlife photographer based in Pune. Professionally, he is employed with a reputed company as Design Engineer. He loves shooting Birds, Mammals and Macro subjects. His wildlife photographs were exhibited in Kalakriti Exhibition 2016 held by Pune Photography Lovers Group and he had wildlife photographic tours in Tadoba, Bharatpur, Ganeshgudi, Matheran and Chiplun. Harish's journey is defined by self teaching yet learning from all and pure dedication, how a fun hobby graduated into pure passion. A Chartered Accountant by qualification, currently employed with a reputed Multinational Bank, he deftly balances figures and finesse. Having covered winged beauties, landscapes and the vivid diaspora of nature, he just follows his heart. Results of his weekend explorations, his collection now is a viewer's delight where each silent frame says a thousand words. His love for Camera showcases that a photographer's world is so subtle that it becomes more real than reality itself. Harish has been a gadget freak and keeps himself updated on latest releases. Born and brought up in Nagpur, the Marathi boy, Shailendra R. Kanfade is a Civil Engineer who escapes from the world of structure by playing with the shutter. He perceives photography as a way to connect with the thoughts and emotions which shy away from him otherwise. He explored his passion for photography after getting inspired from one of his friend’s photography work in 2014. The inspiration was so deep and sincere that now he is known for his excellent Macro Photography. He is an autodidact photographer and loves to drive miles in weekends to nurture his photographic skills. He is currently associated with DCP as Group Leader, Team DCP Vadodara.

Arnab Basu

Arnab Basu is an officer in the Finance Department to the Government of West Bengal. He is currently based in Kolkata,he is actually from the small town of Habra -in the Kolkata suburbs near Indo- Bangladesh border. For his work he had to station himself in various parts of West Bengal and this eventually led him to photography. He started it casually in documenting nature, people, street few years back, his interest later turned towards Macro Photography on a serious line. For Arnab, Macro photography renders him the opportunity to be the witness of the subtle ways that nature has so nonchalantly formulated for even the tiniest of its subjects without any sign of vanity. He thinks that it teaches him to be humble and respectful to laws of Nature. His future plan is to experiment with wide-angle macro, landscape, astrophotography, and time-lapse photography. Robin is an IT engineer by education and photographer by passion. He loves wedding, street and wildlife photography. Robin's love for photography is older than when he could pronounce camera. Being a self-taught photographer, Robin strongly believes one should learn all genres of photography to really master the art, which is actually an ongoing process. Divyaraj, an educator at Surendranagar, Gujarat, possesses doctorate in Physics and pursuing another one in wildlife science for Dispersed Wild Ass. He is a keen naturalist, wanderer and photographer, The hand-on camera for different experiments, had excelled him for vivid photo techniques viz. High -Speed, Long Expo, Wide angle, Wildlife, Portrait etc. His work is seen at magazines like Landscape, Better Photography, Smart photography, SAEVUS, Sanctuary Asia etc. He trains students in Nature Camps at Gir NP and LRK. Pradyuman Samant is a Science student at Don Bosco Jr College, he has been doing wildlife and Nature photography for the past 4 years. He discovered his passion for Wildlife Photography when he visited Jim Corbett the first time. He says that his mother played a major role in encouraging him to develop his skills in this field by sending him for workshops and photowalks conducted by the group. His hobby has turned into a passion and he wishes to pursue photography as his career. This young and talented photographer has won an international title of Young Photographer of the Year at Royal Society of Biology in UK.
