About The Tour

Literally meaning ‘emerald’, Panna is the hidden gem of central India drenched in natural beauty, culture and heritage. Nestled in the lap of Vindhyachal, Panna National Park is prime tiger land in northern Madhya Pradesh. Fed by the Ken river system, the area is characterised by extensive plateaus, gorges and perennial waterfalls streaked in beautiful red, orange and grey surrounded by lush green forests. Troubled in the recent past, Panna is now home to a very healthy population of tigers, leopards, sloth bears, various antelope species and a myriad of other wildlife including one of the largest remaining resident wild population of vultures in Central India along with more than 200 species of resident and migratory birds.
