Jhalana, Famous for its leopard sightings is located close to Jaipur city. Situated in the Aravlli hills, the park consists of granite rocks, quartzite rocks and also consists of the region covered by dry deciduous and tropical rain forests. This makes this park an ideal habitat for the big cats. More than 20 individuals are known to inhabit this small 24sq km park. Apart from Leopard, Jhalana has other attractions such as Striped Hyna, Desert Fox, Golden Jackal, Chital, Indian Palm Civets etc.

Soumabrata Moulick is a passionate wildlife photographer and nature enthusiast. Primarily interested in behavioral and conservation photography, he believes that knowledge should be shared with no holds barred and has a flair for teaching. An engineer by profession, he left his high paying full time job to devote all his time and devotion to the observation, study and documentation of nature and wildlife. His work has been published and acknowledged in various national and some of the most renowned international platforms. He is today a successful conservation photographer and contributes enormously towards the conservation of fast vanishing natural wonders. Som (as we call him lovingly) is a full time Masterclass Mentor with team DCP, taking Wildlife Photography to its next orbit.

Reach Red fox Jaipur in the morning. After breakfast join the team for a briefing on Jhalana, its ecosystem and biodiversity. This will be followed by introduction to gears for safari. Enjoy the lunch and join for the evening safari. In the evening participate in the informal interaction and assessment of your pictures that you made during the safari, followed by dinner.
Get up early to join the morning safari. We will come back to the hotel for breakfast. Take some rest. After lunch we will go for the afternoon safari. Image assessment. In the evening our mentor will do an assessment of your pictures that you made during the safari followed by dinner.
Morning safari. Back to hotel for breakfast. Take some rest. Freshen-up quickly at hotel and checkout for the forward journey.
On field learning from the experts is said to be one of the best methods of improving your skillsets. Our Wildlife Photography Expert will hand hold you at every possible step for a better understanding of perspectives, camera controls and how to make use of the best opportunities to get better images. The training will focus on the following

lease take a note that sighting of a Leopard and / or a good photography opportunity to capture it in an ideal frame is a matter of luck. Though the possibility of sighting is high but it can never be guaranteed in the wild.
