Agra is a perfect place to experience the artistic heritage of the Mughal Empire. The world wonder Taj Mahal attracts the tourists and photographers to Agra like how the bees are drawn to flowers with pollen and nectar. Taj is not the only attraction, there are magnificent forts, tombs and mausoleums to visit and capture, the city offers much to cherish and brilliant opportunity to capture heritage, culture and artistic sites.

Panel Expert - DCP Mumbai

Pankaj Narshana is a Mumbai based full time commercial photographer.  He was interested in drawing and painting from his childhood days, he says that photography is similar to painting and drawing as these require similar levels of imagination and an eye to bring out the beauty of this world. Pankaj is a self taught photographer and his main areas of interest in this field are Travel and Street photography. This talented photographer is associated with DCP Group as a Panel Expert - Team DCP Mumbai

The closest airport is India Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. Take a cab from Delhi and head towards Agra

Agra is well connected by state and roadways buses to several cities and towns like Delhi, Gwalior, Kanpur, Lucknow, Jaipur.

Getting Ready

Things to carry:

Wide to medium tele lens
Carry fully charged batteries for your camera / flash.
Carry battery charger. Carry extra pack of camera batteries.
Carry backup memory cards / HDD storage drives, Laptop.
Sun screens are very important.
It is advisable to carry basic first aid along with you.

Maintain social distancing with other participants.
Use mask and face shield all the time.
Sanitize your hand frequently.
Carry Personal medicines if any.
Be humble fellow photographers.
Do not litter the place.

Itinerary

Day 1

All are requested to reach the hotel by 2 pm. We will have an introduction session followed by lunch at 3 pm. We will visit Itad-ud-Duala (baby Taj) by 4.30 pm and then to Mehtab Baug for Taj with the evening setting sun and back to the hotel by 8 pm. Have dinner together followed by some review session.

Day 2

Early Morning 6 to 10 am, we will explore Taj monument from inside (early visit is recommended as later the crowd increases). After lunch, by around 3 pm, we will visit Agra fort and be back by 5 pm near Taj to get the glimpse of setting sunset from the back of Taj (boat ride if possible).

Day 3

Morning visit to Jama masjid and the market around. We would explore the lanes and the old market of Agra. After lunch we would vist Fatehpur Sikri (40 km from Agra) and be back by 8 pm. Review session in evening followed by dinner.

Day 4

Early morning session to nature walk near Taj. Our tour ends at 12 pm with some good memories.

Field Learnings

On field learning from the experts is said to be one of the best methods of improving your skillsets. Our photography mentor will hand hold you at every possible step for a better understanding of perspectives, camera controls and how to make use of the best opportunities to get better images. The training will focus on the following

Different modes of shooting (Av / A, Tv / S, M and P)
Exposure control in field under difficult light conditions
Mastering metering techniques (Spot, partial, center weighted, evaluative)
Mastering auto focus, focusing points, AF locking and focus tracking for moving subjects
How to get sharp images of moving subjects
Framing and composition in the field

Rs 22,500 per person inclusive of all taxes (twin sharing)

All cancellations between 20 - 30 days of the event date - 50% refund
All cancellations within 20 days of the event date - No refund possible

Yes you can. However, the charges remain the same.
