Street photography is a very interesting genre of photography. Step outside the boundaries of the four walls and your comfort areas, with your camera; smell and experience the dirt on the roads, noise, stares and madness of rush on the streets. The world that you see is the background and the light available is all that you have and everything is beyond your control to set, yet it is a beautiful way to experience life, capturing the candid moments unfolding in front of you, capturing the live moments of life. Street photography does not mean only the people, it can be the atmosphere and environment, small businesses, food, houses or character of the place. Take images of the vendors, food stalls, people rushing home from work, kids playing, the modern life and the traditional life; literally every aspect of life.

This tour will facilitate the participants to capture the essence of Mumbai - its streets, people, food, culture, heritage and festivals. The tour offers amazing opportunities to capture some of its iconic heritage structures of Mumbai, streets of Mumbai, and festivals like Gudi Padva and Eid celebrated in Amchi Mumbai style.

Itinerary

We request you please arrive at your pre-booked hotel at Mumbai before 1 pm. You may feel free to seek assistance from our admin team on your arrival and for the details of your hotel. Checkin, freshen up and have lunch, which will be followed by a briefing by our mentor about the entire tour itinerary.  

Today evening, we will be visiting Worli Koliwada, fisher men colony which is the residence for one of the oldest Mumbaikars.

Early in the morning, we will start with the most vibrant procession of Mumbai which is celebrated to welcome the new year for the Marathi and Konkani Hindus. 

One can witness and capture the true essence of culture of Maharashtra with males and females dressed in traditional Maharashtrian dressing along with the world famous dhol and tasha playing.

Will be back for Lunch by 1:00 pm and leave again at 4:00 pm to visit Dadar Chowpatty for street photography and sunset at the beach along with the Bandra Worli sea link in backdrop.

Today morning, we will be covering the streets of South Mumbai at the Gateway of India and in and around CST. Immerse in the atmosphere, the market areas, the busy streets, small and big shops, food stalls, pedestrians and some iconic heritage buildings of the area.

After lunch, we will be covering the Eid festival in Mumbai 

Visit the always busy Dadar flower market of Mumbai. Our 4 days long guided travel photography tour exploring the essence of Amchi Mumbai comes to an end here.
