One of the biggest national parks in Rajasthan is Desert National Park, which is home to the critically endangered Great Indian Bustard. It was created in 1980 and spans around 3,162 square kilometres, showcasing the distinctive Thar Desert ecology. The Thar begins to join up with life as the abrasive summer transitions into the Southwest monsoon. During the winter months, the park comes alive with the arrival of migratory birds such as Macqueen's bustard, vultures, and eagles. Photographers can capture some amazing shots of the plants and animals throughout the winter months. Additionally, the slight fog presents a favourable setting for some imaginative photography.
