I have been interested in photography as a hobby right from childhood. My first camera was a second-hand 33 mm film camera purchased from "chorbazaar". My hobby could never be taken to a serious level because proper guidance and opportunity to test my skills was missing for me. DCP filled this gap for me in recent times. I started my interaction with DCP by attending a one-day course for beginners. This was soon followed by weekends spent shooting crocodiles in Maldoli, flowers in Kaas, star trails in Malshej, birds in Jamnagar and so forth. I now look forward to spending every available Sunday with DCP doing photo walks in and around Mumbai. Regular interactions with DCPians - both experts as well as learners like me - has resulted in a much deeper understanding of photography and a high level of respect for nature and environment. When I look back at some of the fondest memories of past months, many of them are the times I have spent with DCP.
