My journey with wildlife photography began in 2012, inspired by the terrific images of Caesar Sengupta and Amit Rane. The uniqueness of this institution lies in the fact that the founders take great pride in encouraging Conservation Photography and now are the pioneers in the field.The journey with DCP started with the workshop by Ray Barlow, followed by a Macro expedition at Amboli, then a Star Trail workshop, and then Jamnagar expedition. The efforts, logistics and execution of the workshops are indeed admirable. The advises from seniors and stalwarts like Uncle Ronnie are beyond comparison. Lastly, the concept of Weekend Photowalks has given the city dwellers an opportunity of knowing and appreciating the beauty that exists hidden in our very crowded city, which we often fail to recognize. As my 13 years old son Pradyuman was interested in wildlife photography, I decided to send him with DCP for a photowalk. From that day he learnt an important lesson in life - \u201cBe Down To Earth\u201d. He attended Astrophotography workshop and then Bharatpur workshop with raptor man Kiran Poonacha and Caesar sir. As a mother of a teenager there was always a worry of sending him with strangers but whenever I spoke to any DCP team leaders I never felt that way atall. I still remember Sonal Patil said \u201cDon\u2019t worry Pradyuman is going with his family\u201d and that meant lot to me. After Bharatpur workshop my son became so close to all the mentors, it was a memorable trip for his life. I really thank DCP who not only take efforts before the workshop, during the workshop but even after the workshop. My association with DCP has immensely helped me in enhancing my skill level in wildlife photography by manyfold within a short period of just 6 months. What I love the most about DCP is its extremely passionate panel of experts who are stalwarts not only in the domain of photography but also specialize in wildlife photography and conservation. Their collective wealth of knowledge and experience is unparalleled, which they are always eager to share. If you are surrounded by such mentors, your knowledge and skill in wildlife photography is bound to experience an accelerated learning curve. That is exactly what I have experienced in the last 6 months while attending various DCP workshops and expeditions. Selflessly sharing the knowledge they possess of Camera and wildlife, without holding anything back. Since then it has been an awesome Journey and have grown leaps and bounds within a short span of time.
