A fun-filled, very engaging learning activity for children which teaches them about the urban biodiversity around the city where we live in. It teaches our children about nature by being in nature and not from the digital media.

“DCP Kids Wild Weekends” program is specially crafted to impart knowledge about our natural history and biodiversity within every child using an interactive learning platform by being within the core nature along with our experts. Instead of the typical classroom based approach, this program comprises of interactive, visual, practical and collaborative teaching methods. This initiative attempts to instill ecological sensitivity in children, sensitizes them towards the concept of conservation and teaches them about being ecologically accountable for their actions. Through this program, we wish to educate and train our next generation to become the able torch bearers of the mission we have.

Arvind Patole, an artist and an avid wildlife lover from Pune, India. He is an experienced wildlife photographer and his tryst with wildlife started with books. He has brilliant photography skills and technical knowledge in Wildlife photography with a special interest in bird photography. Arvind is a true conservationist and welfare of his subjects and care of the environment remains first on his list when in the wild. His images show the true beauty of nature around us. He has a great teaching acumen. Apart from his love for photography, drawing and painting, he is a skilled biodiversity expert and Wildlife Photography Expert associated with team DCP Pune.

Parents are most welcome to accompany their kids. We request you to please purchase the park entry ticket on your own. DCP will be taking care of your child's entry ticket fee.
